Men's Water Polo Greek Cup: Olympiacos vs. Panathinaikos in the Final

Olympiacos and Panathinaikos will face each other in the final of the Greek Men's Water Polo Cup. In the semifinals, Olympiacos defeated Apollon Smyrnis 15-8, while Panathinaikos prevailed over Panionios 15-11.

The final will be held on Saturday at the swimming pool of the Hellenic Military Academy, in Vari. Olympiacos aims for its 9th consecutive and 27th overall Cup, while Panathinaikos is seeking its first in history.

In the Olympiacos-Apollon Smyrnis semifinal, Olympiacos initially faced difficulties, with Apollon leading 4-2. However, the "red-whites" overturned the situation and took the victory. In the other semifinal, Panathinaikos prevailed over Panionios, in a game where VAR was used for the first time in Greece, leading to player expulsions.
