Africa Cup of Nations: Nigeria, Tunisia, Senegal, and Congo Advance to Round of 16

Nigeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Democratic Republic of Congo, Benin and Tanzania have secured their place in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations. The first pairings of the knockout stage have been determined.

Nigeria defeated Uganda 3-1, while Tunisia drew 1-1 with Tanzania. Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo won their matches in the group stage. Benin also qualified through the best third-placed teams.

The first pairings for the Round of 16 are:

Tunisia vs. Mali
Tanzania vs. Morocco
Benin vs. Egypt
Democratic Republic of Congo vs. Algeria

The remaining matches will be determined on Wednesday (December 31).
