CFA: National Teams to Have Permanent Training Base at Pyrga Community Stadium

The Cyprus Football Association (CFA) and the Pyrga Community Council have signed an agreement to grant the use of the community stadium for the needs of the National teams. The agreement was signed by the President of the CFA, Haris Loizidis, and the President of the Pyrga Community Council, Stavroulla Vasiliou.

The four-year agreement stipulates the upgrading of the stadium by the CFA, including the changing rooms, the training room, public hygiene areas and the creation of a medical center. The Pyrga Community Council will upgrade the lighting and configure the dimensions of the playing field in accordance with FIFA specifications.

The Pyrga Community Stadium is located at a key point on the island, facilitating travel. Its proximity to the future CFA National Teams Sports Center in Kornos further enhances its strategic importance.
