AEK and Omonia Suffer Losses in European Competitions

Cypriot teams recorded two losses in European competitions. AEK and Omonia suffered defeats in their respective matches in Norway.

AEK Larnaca, despite taking the lead, lost 1-2 to Brann in the Europa League play-offs and must overturn the result in the return leg next Wednesday at the Arena.

Omonia also lost 1-2 to Wolfsberger in the Conference League play-offs. The 'Shamrock' needs a win by two goals at GSP next Thursday to qualify for the League Phase.
