Spain: Clashes at Tenerife - Las Palmas Friendly

Serious incidents occurred at the 53rd Trofeo Teide final during the friendly match between Tenerife and Las Palmas. The match, considered the major derby of the Canary Islands, was marred by clashes between Las Palmas and Tenerife fans.

Approximately 100 Las Palmas fans traveled to the island and, before the match started, left their stand and moved towards the Tenerife fans. They threw objects and protective barriers, causing chaos. Police intervention was immediate, restoring order.

These incidents overshadowed the friendly derby, which serves as a rehearsal for the new season in the Segunda Division.
