Athens Half Marathon 2026: Traffic Regulations and Schedule

The 14th Athens Half Marathon 2026 is taking place today in the center of Athens, attracting thousands of runners from Greece and abroad. Traffic regulations are in effect from 7:00 AM, and roads will reopen after 2:00 PM.

The race started at 8:00 AM from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The program also includes the 'Family Run' that took place at 11:45 AM, as well as a 5-kilometer race at 12:15 PM.

Highlights included a runner running with his baby and another with his dog.
