Katerina Stefanidi Responds to Comments About Breastfeeding: 'Be More Sensitive'

The Olympic gold medalist in pole vaulting, Katerina Stefanidi, responded via Instagram to comments regarding breastfeeding and her posts about her personal life.

Stefanidi emphasized that she will continue to share moments from her personal life on social media, despite the reactions.

'I would like to warn those who follow me that on my personal pages on Instagram and Facebook I will upload, as in the past, things that may often be related to my personal life. I say this so you are not surprised,' she stated.

Regarding breastfeeding, Katerina Stefanidi stated: 'I was lucky and from the beginning I had the opportunity to breastfeed my child daily and so I intend to continue… It would be good for some to be more sensitive to the reality of some women before rushing to write in your comments.'

In closing, she responded to those who commented on her choice to respond to negative comments, saying: 'For those who ask me why I bother with idiots'.
