Greek Women's Volleyball Team Aims for Perfect Score Against Austria

The Greek women's volleyball team faces Austria today, August 6th, at 20:00 at the «Melina Merkouri» arena for the EuroVolley 2026 qualifiers. Greece has already secured its qualification to the final stage.

The match will be broadcast live on ERT3, with free admission for the public.

The national coach, Apostolos Oikonomou, will not have Kiki Terzoglou, Eirini Chatziefstratiadou, and Anthí Vasilantonaki available. Eva Tani and Georgina Antonakaki are also out of the squad for tactical reasons.

Mr. Oikonomou stated that the match is a dress rehearsal for the World Championship and he wants to see a good performance from the team.
