The first training camp of the Cyprus U-17 Women's National Team, held in Agros and Pelendri, has been successfully completed.

The camp lasted for one week and involved 35 female football players under the age of 17. In addition to on-field training, the program included theoretical lessons and activities as defined by the coaching team.

National Team coach Savvas Sofokleous stated: "It was a successful training camp, and I believe we have achieved multifaceted and substantial benefits for all involved. I thank the Federation for the opportunity given to us."

The camp's educational focus was on professionalism, technical and tactical training, teamwork, responsibility, and cultivating awareness in relation to the National Team.

According to Mr. Sofokleous, such training activities create a pool of players ready to join the National teams, knowing the requirements and cultivating a unified game philosophy.
