Sofronis and Kostis' Statements After the Match at GSP Stadium

Following the match at GSP Stadium, coaches Sofronis and Kostis made the following statements:

Sofronis: "What can I say! It's a shame for the players themselves. They played an excellent game... Tactically, running, passion, strength. We can't lose points for no reason. Our players wronged themselves. They made an excellent effort. It's unacceptable to concede 2 goals from set pieces."

Kostis: "I want to start with something positive for Cypriot football. Sofronis is an example for Cypriot coaches for his career and successes. Congratulations to my team for refusing to lose. Our team had its worst performance and we need to find out why this happened. We showed a reaction, but I would be naive if I didn't see what happened because that's the only way we will fix things. Congratulations to the players for the character they showed, but we must not hide the problems because they will create issues along the way."
