Silver Medal for Karolina Pelendritou at World Championships

Karolina Pelendritou won the silver medal in the 50m freestyle S11 at the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore.

The Cypriot champion finished with a time of 30.30, which is her best performance of the year. Daria Lukiianenko from Russia took first place with 30.22, while Lisette Bruinsma from the Netherlands was third with 30.34.

This is Pelendritou's third medal in the 50m freestyle at the World Championships, having won gold in 2022 and bronze in 2023.

Pelendritou will also compete in the 100m breaststroke final.
