Brother of government official is rising basketball referee

Megaklis Marinakis, brother of the government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis, is a rising basketball referee. He has been included in the lists of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK) and is considered promising.

Megaklis Marinakis participated in the Allwyn Final 8 of the Greek Basketball Cup, where he refereed the match between Marousi and Aris.

The Marinakis family has a basketball background, as Pavlos Marinakis played basketball for Apolloniada before pursuing a career in law and politics.
