Labor Ministry: Workshop on Inclusion of ADHD Individuals in the Workplace

The Minister of Labor and Social Insurance, Marinos Mousiouttas, emphasized the importance of equal access to employment for individuals with ADHD during a workshop organized by the Ministry of Labor in collaboration with the ADHD Support Association of Cyprus.

At the workshop titled "Creating an inclusive workplace for people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder," Mr. Mousiouttas stressed that inclusion is a fundamental obligation of the State and a developmental advantage for businesses.

The President of the Board of Directors of the ADHD Support Association of Cyprus, Marina Georgiou, highlighted the need to understand ADHD as a different way of functioning and to utilize the potential of individuals with ADHD in the workplace.

Psychiatrist Petros Antoniou presented the speech entitled "ADHD in the workplace: From understanding to inclusion and talent utilization," focusing on understanding ADHD and the role of employers.

Labor Officer Marios Evgeniou presented the Subsidized Employment Plans for people with Chronic Conditions and People with Disabilities, with a grant of up to €24,000 per person.
