Integration into Employment Schemes for EEE Beneficiaries in 2025

The official of the Allowance Management Service, Christos Diomidous, referred to the development of social policy schemes for 2025, on the show "Mesimeri kai Kati".
The schemes, implemented since 2016, aim to activate allowance beneficiaries, providing work experience and enhancing their skills for integration into the labor market.
Participants are placed in public services, covering needs such as filing at the Department of Lands and Surveys or performing duties in municipalities. Mr. Diomidous stressed that refusal to participate leads to the termination of the allowance.
Beneficiaries are unemployed individuals aged 25-60, who receive the allowance and an additional 110 euros per month. At the same time, a social care plan has been extended for prisoners of war, widows of fallen soldiers, spouses of missing persons, parents of fallen and missing persons of 1974, as well as disabled war veterans.
The plan provides allowances for home care (240-400 euros) and increased subsidy for institutional care (1,300 euros).
The goal is social integration and support for vulnerable groups.
