Fire Alert: Camps and Care Facilities on High Alert

The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, under Minister Domna Michailidou, has placed the country's camps and care facilities on alert due to dangerous weather conditions and a very high risk of fire.

A recommendation has been issued to take protective measures for beneficiaries, including infants, children, people with disabilities, chronically ill individuals, and the elderly, as well as for their safe transportation.

Decentralized administrations and regions are urged to inform municipalities and regional units, respectively, to take all necessary fire protection measures and to adhere to the fire protection and evacuation plan where required.
