Premature Birth at Home: 27-Week-Old Infant Rescued

A touching post by the Head of the Ambulance Service, Riana Constantinou, concerns the resuscitation of a newborn infant at home. The incident involved a premature birth at 27 weeks.
Ms. Constantinou emphasized the difficulty of resuscitating a newborn outside of a hospital, stressing that "Education, composure, and adherence to protocols are the key success factors in a healthcare system and a rescue operation."
Despite the challenges, the operation was successful, with the Coordination Center and crews simultaneously managing the mother and newborn in a remote area.
