Premature Birth at 27 Weeks: Ambulance Service Expresses Gratitude

The Head of the Ambulance Service, Riana Constantinou, publicly expressed her gratitude to those who contributed to the successful handling of a difficult premature birth incident.
According to Ms. Constantinou, the incident involved a premature birth at 27 weeks of gestation, at a home during the night. The rescue operation was described as particularly demanding, as the crews had to manage two critical patients simultaneously, the mother and the newborn, in a remote area.
Ms. Constantinou thanked the Coordination Center and the ambulance crews for their composure and efficiency, emphasizing the importance of training and adherence to protocols in such situations.
