Eva Schloss, Holocaust Survivor and Anne Frank's Stepsister, Dies at 96

Eva Schloss, a Holocaust survivor and the stepsister of Anne Frank, has died in London at the age of 96. The news was announced by the Anne Frank Trust, which she co-founded.
Eva Schloss was born in Austria in 1929, and her family fled to the Netherlands to escape the Nazis. There, Eva and Anne Frank became friends before their families were forced into hiding. Eva's family was arrested and sent to Auschwitz.
After liberation, Eva settled in London and later co-founded the Anne Frank Trust. King Charles III and Camilla expressed their sadness at her passing.
