Extension of "Accessibility at Home" Program until 2026

The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family has announced an extension of the "Accessibility at Home" program until February 6, 2026.
The extension applies to beneficiaries who have not yet completed the submission of the necessary supporting documents. The aim is to facilitate their participation and the smooth implementation of accessibility interventions.
Simplifications have been implemented to facilitate citizens, such as not requiring a technical report from an engineer for interventions involving mobile equipment.
Already, 1,311 people have received the advance payment (50% of the approved amount), while an additional 428 people will receive it within the week. One hundred and sixty-five people have submitted additional information and are being evaluated.
The extension was deemed necessary to facilitate applicants in proceeding with interventions that substantially enhance the autonomy and quality of life for Persons with Disabilities.
