International Cat Day: Tips to Celebrate Your Feline

Today, August 8th, is International Cat Day. Animal consultant and trainer, Kostas Kontaxis, suggests ways to make this day special for your cat.

You can offer your cat a new blanket, toys, or catnip. You can also brush it or prepare a homemade 'ice cream' from tuna and pumpkin, without salt and sugar.

Mr. Kontaxis suggests activities for children, such as reading books with feline heroes and creating cat-themed crafts.

In addition, you can visit cat cafes or animal shelters and help stray cats with donations or shares on social media.

Most importantly, according to Mr. Kontaxis, is to spend time with your cat and respect its personality.
