L’Oréal has sparked controversy by hiring Ari Kytsya, an adult content creator from OnlyFans, as a brand ambassador for Urban Decay, a makeup brand popular with teenagers.

Penny East of the Fawcett Society expressed concerns about the message this collaboration sends to young women, as Kytsya also promotes the pornography industry.

L’Oréal defended its choice, emphasizing Kytsya's authenticity and her honesty about her experiences in the industry.

The campaign, which has been viewed over 18.7 million times on TikTok, features images of Kytsya with the tagline “UD likes it raw” and refers to the need for “uncensored makeup.”

Urban Decay, owned by L’Oréal since 2012, is known for its edgy products. Kytsya also promotes involvement in the adult content industry as a lucrative career option, while advising those interested.

Visa and Diageo recently withdrew advertisements from a documentary with a similar theme.
