Few public sector employees with mobility issues

Very few employees with mobility issues or disabilities have been able to secure positions in the public and semi-public sector, despite the 10% quota stipulated by law.
According to data submitted to the Parliamentary Committees on Education and Labour by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, from 2010 to 2024, 44 people were hired in the public service and 10 people in semi-governmental organizations.
34 people are employed on fixed-term contracts and 10 as hourly workers. Parliament and disability associations are requesting training in new flexible forms of employment.
