CING Coordinates European Program for Equality in Digital Professions

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING) is coordinating the new Erasmus+ pICTureURpath program, aimed at promoting gender equality in ICT studies and professions. The project, categorized as Policy Experimentation (ERASMUS-EDU-2024-POL-EXP), has a total budget of ā¬979,281.01, of which ā¬361,479.38 is directed to CING.
The program is scheduled to start on April 1, 2025, and will last for 3 years. Six partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and the Netherlands are participating. The coordinator is Dr. Margarita Zachariou.
The main goal is to identify factors affecting girls' aspirations in ICT studies and to develop a pedagogical framework for teachers. The aim is to submit evidence-based policy proposals to enhance the participation of girls in ICT studies and professions.
The kick-off meeting will take place on June 26ā27, 2025, in Athens. An international information day (online) will be held on September 25, 2025. More information: pictureurpath.eu.
