An innovative artificial intelligence tool, eyeRADAR, is now available in Cyprus for the diagnosis of dyslexia and other learning disabilities. The tool was developed by Dr. Ioannis Aslanidis, an ophthalmic surgeon from Crete.

eyeRADAR uses an eye tracker to record eye movements during reading, creating patterns that can distinguish between normal readers and dyslexics. The examination takes about 10 minutes and has an accuracy of 95%.

According to experts, the appropriate age for examination with eyeRADAR is between 7 and 12 years. Dr. Antonis Ioannidis, an ophthalmologist in Limassol, operates the tool in Cyprus.

eyeRADAR has been patented in the EU and the USA, and its methodology has been published in international journals. More than 500 children in public schools in Cyprus have been examined free of charge in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
