Arson Investigated in Paphos Fires

Authorities are investigating possible arson behind the recent fires in the Paphos province. Police suspect that the fire that broke out late last night between the communities of Pentalia and Salamiou was a malicious act.

According to the Cyprus Times, two fire outbreaks were identified and extinguished in the early morning hours.

The fire burned approximately five decares of dry grass and wild vegetation.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the perpetrators.
