Cyprus: 13 Flu Deaths, Including a 54-Year-Old

The number of deaths from laboratory-confirmed influenza in Cyprus has risen to 13 since the beginning of the epidemic period. Yesterday, a 54-year-old died in a private hospital.

The Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Elisavet Konstantinou, stated that the flu is now affecting younger age groups as well.
