In October 1978, two leaders of the Iranian opposition, against the British-backed Shah of Iran, met in the suburbs of Paris, in Neauphle-le-Château.

The purpose of the meeting was to plan the final stages of the revolution.

This revolution, after 46 years, may be nearing its end.
