Iranian Opposition Leaders Met in Paris in 1978

In October 1978, two leaders of the Iranian opposition met in Noisy-le-Château, a suburb of Paris. The purpose of the meeting was to plan the final stages of the revolution against the British-backed Shah of Iran.

The revolution, which began 46 years ago, is at a critical juncture.
