Demi Moore: "Don't Expect Bruce Willis to Be as He Was"

Demi Moore has spoken about Bruce Willis's health condition and his battle with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia. The actress emphasized the importance of accepting the new reality and being present in the moment.
In an excerpt from a pre-recorded conversation with Oprah Winfrey, presented during an interview with the actor's current wife, Emma Heming, Demi Moore stated that it is difficult to see someone so strong in this condition. She added that one must accept that the person they knew is no longer the same.
"My perspective is that you meet them where they're at. Don't expect them to be who they were or who you want them to be. When you really let that go, you can stay in the present and take in the joy and the love that is present and there for all that they are, not all that they aren't," she stated.
Emma Heming recently revealed that she made the "difficult decision" to move the actor to a separate residence, adapted to his needs, while Bruce Willis had announced his diagnosis of aphasia in 2022, announcing his retirement from acting.
