In a social media post, Lady Gaga thanked Bad Bunny for the invitation. The performance took place on Sunday, February 8. In an Instagram post on Monday, Lady Gaga called the moment «significant and meaningful,» stating that she felt «especially honored» to be part of the show.

In the same post, the singer also thanked Ricky Martin, who was the second surprise of the halftime show, as well as all the production staff. Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, chose two surprise artists for the halftime show.

In addition to the musical performances, the show was enriched with «La Casita,» a set that is a reference point in Bad Bunny's «Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour,» as well as appearances by famous faces, including Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal, and Cardi B.
