Photis Spyros: 'I have cancer, and I'm fighting it'

Actor Photis Spyros revealed that he has been diagnosed with colon cancer. In an interview, he spoke about his battle with the disease, as well as the challenges he faced with his sexuality, abuse, and alcoholism.

Photis Spyros emphasized the importance of preventive examinations and diagnostic tests. He also spoke about his decision to become sober from alcohol at the age of 40, as well as the abusive behavior he experienced from his father.

The actor also referred to the period when he was battling alcoholism, expressing his regret for his bad behavior towards the people around him, and especially towards his sister. He noted that after completing the rehabilitation program, he apologized to those he had hurt.
