Al Jazeera Case: Attorney General's Office Considers Appeal After Syllouris-Tziovani Acquittal

The Attorney General's Office is considering its next steps following the acquittal of Dimitris Syllouris and Giorgos Tziovani in the Al Jazeera case. According to a report by Stelios Charalambous, the Legal Service will study the court's decision.

The Attorney General's Office has the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal if legal errors or an incorrect assessment of the facts are found. The court noted the lack of direct testimony from the Al Jazeera individuals involved in the video.

Eleni Theocharous, head of the «Solidarity» movement, expressed her satisfaction with the acquittal of Dimitris Syllouris and denounced those who condemned him before the verdict.
