Two T/Cs Detained in Connection with the Arrest of 5 G/Cs in Occupied Territories

The detention of an 83-year-old T/C real estate agent, who was "arrested" in the occupied territories in connection with the case of the 5 G/Cs, has been extended for another 3 days. The real estate agent has been "detained" for 10 days.
Two real estate agents, a father and son, were arrested on July 23. The son was released in previous days. The 83-year-old father is being held on charges of violating the "laws on the protection of personal data."
At the "district court" of Trikomo today, the "police" stated that the property title information found in the blue folder held by the G/Cs when they were "arrested" bears the seal and signature of the real estate agent. The "police" stated that they are examining 3,000 messages in the real estate agent's email.
The T/C real estate agent's lawyer stated that the case is political and not legal.
Also presented at the "court" was an employee of the "land registry" of Kyrenia, who has also been detained since July 31 on charges of violating the "laws on the protection of personal data" and "abuse of power." The "police" claimed that the employee gave the "land registry" information to the real estate agent. The "court" ordered his detention for 3 days.
