Ministry of Interior Explains Message Delay

The Ministry of Interior has issued a statement regarding the test message for preventive self-protection measures, explaining why many citizens did not receive it in a timely manner.

According to the announcement, the purpose of the test was to assess the immediacy of informing the public. The results showed that the sending and receiving time of messages varies between telecommunications providers, resulting in some subscribers receiving the message with a delay.

The Deputy Ministry of Innovation, Research and Digital Policy is in consultation with providers to explore the possibility of reducing the sending time. The measure will be re-evaluated, while existing ways of informing the public remain in effect.
