Christodoulides Signs One, Refers Six Pension Laws

President Nikos Christodoulides signed the law allowing officials to voluntarily waive their pensions. According to the CNA, he referred six other laws back to Parliament, including the one that postpones retirement to age 65.

In a letter to the Speaker of the House, President Christodoulides stated that the six laws were referred based on suggestions from the Legal Service, indicating minor modifications to remove their unconstitutionality.
