The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, stated that he is not satisfied with the state of shelters in Cyprus and announced that further decisions will be taken to strengthen them at the upcoming session of the Council of Ministers.

Upon his arrival at the Pancyprian Lyceum of Larnaca, President Christodoulides emphasized that, given the Turkish invasion 52 years ago, shelters should have been a priority.

While acknowledging a significant increase in the number of shelters, he reiterated that he is not satisfied and that additional measures will be taken to strengthen them.
