Parliamentary Elections 2026: Registration Deadline and Facilities

The Ministry of Interior announces that the Parliamentary Elections will be held on May 24, 2026. All citizens of the Republic aged 18 and over, who have their habitual residence in Cyprus for the last six months, have the right to vote.

The deadline for submitting an application to register on the electoral roll is April 2, 2026. After this date, no new registrations or changes will be accepted.

New voters who turn 18 by the election date are also eligible to register, provided they submit an application between January 3, 2026, and April 2, 2026. Turkish Cypriots holding Republic of Cyprus identity cards with addresses in the free areas are also eligible.

For those up to 25 years of age, applications can be submitted electronically via the elections.gov.cy website. Paper applications are submitted to the local District Administration Offices, the Citizen Service Centers (KEP), and the Citizen Centers (KE.PO).
