Parliamentary Elections 2026: Risk for EDEK and DIPA, Poll

According to a recent poll, the EDEK and DIPA parties may not be able to enter Parliament in the 2026 parliamentary elections. The poll, in which 2,625 people participated, shows that DIKO receives 5%, losing its regulatory role due to the rise of ELAM.
EDEK is facing internal problems, and the new leadership under Nikos Anastasiou does not seem to convince voters. DIPA is struggling to capitalize on its cooperation with the government. DIPA officials express concerns about the party's continued presence in Parliament.
Nikolas Papadopoulos of DIKO, despite internal problems, maintains a stable base, but his effort to cooperate with EDEK and DIPA has not been met with a response. A meeting between Nikolas Papadopoulos and Marios Karoyian of DIPA is expected within the week.
The political stake for EDEK and DIPA is reorganization or political disappearance, as an autonomous course involves significant risks.
