Turkish Exercise "Mediterranean Storm" in occupied Cyprus

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the start of the annual military exercise "Mediterranean Storm" in occupied Cyprus, taking place from September 8 to 12, 2025.

The exercise is held in memory of Turkish pilot Cengiz Topel, whose plane was shot down during the bombings of Tillyria in 1964. The Turkish occupation forces and the "security forces" of the pseudo-state are participating in the exercise, with the assistance of land, naval, and air forces.

The announcement was made via social media and accompanied by a video with footage from the exercise.
