Tatar: 'Two-state cooperation is a red line'

Ersin Tatar stated that cooperation between two states, the continuation of Turkey's guarantor status, and the presence of Turkish troops are the 'red lines' for an agreement. The statement was made at an event for the 'martyrs' in Tochni, Zigi, and Akanthou, in the occupied territories.
The Turkish Cypriot leader claimed that 'massacres took place in Cyprus from 1955' and reiterated the claim of a 'peace operation' in 1974. He also stated that those responsible for the murders in Tochni, Zigi, and Akanthou were police officers and soldiers, and accused the Greek Cypriot administration of not taking measures to punish them.
He also referred to the events in Gaza, saying that the oppressed are being oppressed while the world remains a spectator.
