Unions: Strike for Cost of Living Allowance (ATA) to Proceed on Thursday

Strike actions will proceed as planned on Thursday, September 11, according to a joint announcement by trade unions SEK, PEO, PASYDY, and DEOK.

The unions stated that employers reaffirmed their firm stance for changes to the conditions of the Cost of Living Allowance (ATA), essentially dismantling the institution. They also rejected any regulation that would differentiate the existing amount of ATA payment.

The trade unions called on workers to participate massively in the mobilizations on Thursday, September 11, 2025, for the ATA.

SEK, PEO, PASYDY, DEOK are calling for a fight for ATA for all.
