President Christodoulides Meets with Egyptian Prime Minister

The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister of Egypt to discuss strategic cooperation, regional stability, and strengthening Cyprus-Egypt relations.

According to the government spokesperson, discussions included energy cooperation, with emphasis on the development of the Cronos and Aphrodite gas fields, as well as cooperation on broader interconnectivity projects in the fields of electricity and renewable energy sources.

Additionally, President Christodoulides met with the President of Lebanon to discuss cooperation in addressing irregular migration.
