Stefanou: AKEL will win the 2026 elections

The General Secretary of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou, expressed confidence in the party's victory in the 2026 parliamentary elections during a rally in Paphos.

Mr. Stefanou emphasized that AKEL will work with enthusiasm to address the challenges and problems facing society. He also criticized current policies, arguing that they favor big business at the expense of workers and vulnerable groups.

He also referred to the need for a strong AKEL, which will emphasize substance and content, as well as solutions to the country's problems. He stressed that AKEL remains accountable to the people and tells the truth, even if it is not popular.

Mr. Stefanou presented AKEL's candidates in Paphos: Mariella Theophanous, Andreas Nicolaou, Nikos Savvidis, Giorgos Skourou and Valentino Fakontis.
