The Pancyprian Bar Association (PBA) will report the "arrest" of five Greek Cypriots in the occupied territories to the European Union and international organizations. In a statement, the PBA condemns the "illegal and arbitrary arrest" and claims that the charges are unfounded and aim to criminalize the presence and assertion of rights.

The Association reminds that the "police" and "courts" in the occupied territories lack legitimacy and operate illegally, violating international law. It considers that their actions have no legal force and aim to terrorize and violate fundamental rights.

The PBA emphasizes that this action constitutes a violation of human rights, such as the right to freedom of movement, property, and dignity. It expresses solidarity with the detainees and demands their immediate release, declaring its determination to continue the struggle for justice and the protection of human rights in Cyprus.
