Androulakis' Office Director Resigns Over Comments About Mitsotakis

The director of the office of the president of PASOK, Giorgos Papavasileiou, resigned a few days after his appointment by Nikos Androulakis, following the revelation of older comments on social networks regarding Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
In his statement, Mr. Papavasileiou stated that he has been a member of PASOK since 1974 and that his comments, made five years ago, do not constitute recognition of the Prime Minister and the government. He argued that the Mitsotakis government is a protagonist in corruption and unreliability.
Mr. Papavasileiou concluded by saying that he submitted his resignation so that there would be no shadow on the struggle that PASOK is waging.
