Banner Against Federation Displayed on Invasion Anniversary

A group of citizens displayed a banner at the Strovolos roundabout on the anniversary of the 1974 Turkish invasion. The banner read: "I Don't Forget – Federation = Turkification," expressing their opposition to a federal solution for the Cyprus issue.
