Olguin to Visit London, Brussels for Cyprus Talks (July 1-2)

The Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, Maria Angela Olguin, will hold talks in London and Brussels on July 1st and 2nd.

Reportedly, on July 1st, Ms. Olguin will meet in London with the **British Minister of State for Europe**, Stephen Doughty. On July 2nd, in Brussels, she will meet with the **European Commission's special envoy for Cyprus**, Johannes Hahn.

Meanwhile, contacts continue to determine the date for convening the expanded conference in New York, scheduled for the second half of July.

President Nikos Christodoulides has convened a meeting of the National Council on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
