Olga Kefalogianni: Disagreements with party line

Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni stated that she has often expressed views that contradict the party line. The statement was made on June 18, 2025, during an event marking the start of cooperation between the Center for Socio-Political Studies "Politeia" and the Greek organization Women Act.

Anna Koukkidi Prokopiou, president of the "Politeia" Center, referred to the "democratic deficit" and the need for equality and inclusion. Olga Kefalogianni emphasized that citizens judge the effectiveness of politicians, regardless of gender, and that elected officials must have and express an opinion, even if it opposes the party line.
