President Christodoulides Presents Six-Point Plan for Gaza

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, presented a six-point plan for Gaza during a working dinner at the first European Union - Egypt Summit in Brussels.
According to the Director of the President's Press Office, Victor Papadopoulos, President Christodoulides referred to the role that Cyprus can play in the implementation of President Trump's peace plan, providing functional support that respects Israel's security concerns and contributes to the sustainability of Gaza.
The Republic of Cyprus has proposed a model of implementational contribution, codified into six operational pillars, building on the successful implementation of the "Amalthea" plan.
President Christodoulides also emphasized Egypt's stabilizing role and the importance of the Pact for the Mediterranean, as well as the need to support Egypt's macroeconomic stability in coordination with the International Monetary Fund.
