Nikos Tornaritis Will Not Run in the 2026 Elections

DISY MP Nikos Tornaritis has announced that he will not seek re-election in the parliamentary elections of May 2026.

In a post, Mr. Tornaritis stated that "tomorrow is the day for submitting candidacies to the Democratic Rally for the parliamentary elections of May 2026. It is the first time, after almost 25 years, that I will not be a candidate."

He also expressed his gratitude for the support he has received over the years and stated that he will support the candidates of the Democratic Rally.

"Together we will fight to make our beloved party the first and strongest political force in our country, for our Cyprus," he noted.
